Pastor Curtis Malena

Pastor Curtis Malena is an anointed and appointed man of God who preaches and teaches the unadulterated Word of God out of his soul without fear or favor. God called him out of sin and shame over 29 years ago to be a God-fearing servant that leads and teaches his people into all truth. Pastor Malena loves God, the souls of man, the Full Gospel ministry and his Leaders, Apostle Lobias and Evangelist Shirley Murray. Pastor Malena is a true and powerful man of faith that believes that Jesus is the first answer to life’s situations.

After he accepted the call of God he began his ministry by preaching the gospel of deliverance on the streets of Dallas, Texas. He also evangelized in Youth Service and the jail ministry, he has hosted revivals in various cities where God has saved and delivered many souls.  Before his call to pastoral ship, he was and is a faithful, dedicated servant of Full Gospel Holy Temple Headquarters located in Dallas, Texas under the Founding leadership of Apostle Lobias and Evangelist Shirley Murray where he served in many different areas to benefit the work of God.  He was an active and faithful member of the Shirley Murray Gospel Singers and Saturday Morning Youth Service and always found himself busy doing the work of the Lord.

As his ministry continued to be fulfilled, God had another calling for him and his wife, and that was to pastor.  Following the leading of the Lord, and his Overseers, God sent him and his wife to the City of Grand Prairie to establish the Grand Prairie Full Gospel Holy Temple Church .Grand Prairie Full Gospel Holy Temple was established October 28, 1989 our first service began that Saturday in a community center.  The following year we relocated to 1916 Sherman St., a building that was in much need of renovating.  When the renovation was completed we worshipped and praised God there for over 13 years and the power of God moved in that place until we were blessed to move to our now location at 307 S. W. 14th St. Grand Prairie, TX.

Pastor Malena is a man after God’s own heart.  He loves and encourages the young people to do the best they can and that they can be an influential being in this society and still serve God.  He encourages them to obtain the highest level of education that will support their future goals in society.  Not only does he encourage the young but he also encourages everyone to believe in God and have the faith to achieve your life goals and that you are never too old to be what you want to be.

 Grand Prairie Full Gospel Holy Temple has several ministries in operation which consist of: the Sunday School Department, the Usher Board, Video/Cassette/DVD Ministry, Street Ministry, Tract Ministry, Witnessing Ministry and the Music Department.

First Lady Evangelist Sarah Malena

Evangelist Sarah Malena is the wife of Elder Curtis Malena, Pastor of Grand Prairie Full Gospel Holy Temple.  She is a woman of God and of great faith. She is humble and quite but she is full of power and authority. She worked closely with Eld Malena before he became pastor and she attended youth service and followed him as he held different street services and revivals. She assists her husband in ministry as well as in everyday life she is a helpmate in every aspect of the word. She loves to fellowship with people and she will personally greet you with a warm smile to make everyone feel like you are part of the family.

She prays for the ministry and for God’s people as well as take care of her home, she is a mother, wife, Pastor’s wife, grandmother, and great-grand mother and great friend to many people. She, alone with Pastor Malena, has made many loving sacrifices within the ministry and in their home. They have raised grandchildren, nieces and nephews and paid for their education.

Evangelist Malena assist her husband in the work of God and stands right by his side in every endeavor and every project he takes on, because she knows that he will follow God so she will faithfully follow him. She is President of the Women Call to Duty Auxiliary and spear head other different events and programs, but she mostly like to stay in the background because she believe that what you do in secret God will reward you openly.
